Pass Guarantee

Effective: July 2026 · En español

Pass your knowledge test, or get your money back. Simple as that.

We built PermitPal from your state's official driver handbook and we stand behind it. If you buy PermitPal Pro, prepare with it, and still don't pass your DMV knowledge exam, we will refund your purchase in full.

What qualifies

• You purchased PermitPal Pro (any one-time unlock, at any price).
• You prepared with the app: completed the learning path for your test type, or passed at least three full mock exams before your test date.
• You took the official knowledge exam (car permit, motorcycle, or CDL) in the state you studied for and did not pass.
• You contact us within 60 days of your purchase.

How the refund works

1. Write to us through the support form or at hello@getpermitpal.com. Tell us the state, the test you took, and roughly when. No paperwork, no photos of test results required. We take your word for it.
2. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, so the fastest path is a store refund. We will send you the direct link and walk you through it (for Apple, reportaproblem.apple.com; it usually takes minutes).
3. If the store declines the refund, we make you whole ourselves. You will not be left holding the bag because of a store policy.

The fine print, in plain words

• The guarantee covers the knowledge (written) exam the app prepares you for. It does not cover the behind-the-wheel road test.
• One refund per purchase. A refund ends the Pro unlock.
• Free codes and giveaway unlocks have nothing to refund, but if the app let you down we still want to hear about it.

Why can we afford this? Because the app works. Every question is verified against your state's current official manual, and people who finish the path pass. The guarantee is not a marketing trick; it is the consequence of how the content is built.
